Need help for 2nd phase cleft lift & palate surgery for my son

Hi everyone! My name is Kurniawan from Palembang, Indonesia.

I am here raising funds for my son, Fathian Abbasy Kurniawan.

He need to do 2nd phase cleft lift and palate surgery around April~august 2020.

My son was born in a special condition with Cleft Lip & Palate.

My son born in Palembang, Indonesia on 20-Aug-2019. Since birth, he was in a special condition with Labios Crisis & Palatoschisis (people called it Cleft Lip & Palate).

Not only once, but He need to undergo several times of surgery to treat his cleft lift and palate to became normal again.

On November 20, 2019 when he was 3 months old, He has undergone a Phase 1 surgery process which combines the cleft lip with stitches.

My son already allowed to remove the bandaged 1 day after the operation was carried out

This time, we are lucky. During the Phase 1 operation we received assistance from a foundation for free surgery to treat my son.

My son need to undergo phase 2 surgery to repairing the cleft palate.

As we consult with doctor, the second phase of surgery to repair the cleft palate is when my son at age of 8-12 months old with his weight is more than 10 kg.

At the first surgery, we are grateful because there were a community that help us to cover the 1st phase of surgery. But for the period of treatment & recovery after surgery we spend own money. and we spend a lot enough of money such as consulting doctors, medical equipment, therapy, etc.

We are preparing for the 2nd surgery

The total surgery needed are 4 phase. We currently preparing for the 2nd phase and we which will be happen around April to August 2020 when my son age is 8-12 months with weight is more than 10 kg.

The cost to do the 2nd phase is not that small, we need big enough amount to do 2nd surgery. We currently in financial drain after my son recovery needs after the 1st surgery

We are really need your support so my son to do complete phase to treat his cleft

Details on needed funds

All collected funds will be use for my son palate surgery and his recovery phase after the surgery happen. The cost for 2nd surgery will cost about IDR7.000.000 - IDR15.000.000 (approx $800) and after recovery itself will cost the same.

Schedule

We really hope that the 2nd phase of surgery will continue to be carried out on April~ August 2020 as the doctor suggest. For prepare it we also trying to make saving little by little for pre-preparation& post-operative recovery of my son.
