I want my husband sustain his dialysis sessions.

Dear Friends,

I am Thelma Morante. I am a public school teacher in General Santos City, Philippines.

My husband is a dialysis patient for more than six months, and I am financially hard to cover his treatment cost. My salary as a public school teacher is too small and I'm also the breadwinner in the family.

I have three children. My eldest one had already got married last year. My second child is 16 years old, a Grade 11 student, and my third child is 12 years old, now at Grade 6.

I'm in debt to sustain my husband's medical treatment

Last May 2019, my husband was hospitalized with an excess bill of more than one hundred thousand pesos (100,000 PHP) in which some of the money I paid to the hospital came from loans in which until now I am unable to pay for it due to financial constraints.

Then my husband undergoes dialysis twice a week until now, which cost 1,500 pesos per session in excess of the Philhealth insurance. In a month, we pay 12,000 pesos for eight dialysis sessions plus 4,000 pesos for maintenance medicines. The amount is beyond my humble salary as a teacher.

Please support us to continue the dialysis

I want to extend my husband's life for he is only 49 years old. Presently I can not sustain his maintenance medicines and dialysis sessions payment only from my salary.

I will use all funds to pay for the medicine and dialysis for two months ahead. This should loose our financial constraint so we can partially pay our previous loans.
