Let's be the first one to help!
By sharing more people will know about the project, and it will be more likely to be supported.
Hello. My team and I from Pakistan are delighted to have been selected to participate in the 2020 Jean Pictet Competition. However, it seems that we may not be able to take part in it, for we are facing financial constraints.
We'll be using the collected $1500 to submit the $834 registration fee and the remaining 666 dollars fus in airfare. Thank you for your consideration.
The Jean Pictet Competition is a simulation of a trial on international humanitarian law topics. My team, through their efforts and zeal, was selected to participate in the said competition. We believe such competitions to be greatly enriching, providing a practical outlook for law students. I assure you that your generous funding would be worthwhile, and that we would give you due credit for our achievements earned as a result of our participation in this competition.
With each member in a different year from the other, a commonality we have: each member in our team is bound together by the zeal for International Humanitarian Law. As law students, we have traversed different facets of law, yet there exists an unremitting inclination for International Humanitarian Law and its expansive scope. Our interests lie in edifying ourselves with both familiar and unfamiliar principles of IHL; its ability of mitigating the inevitable ramifications of an armed conflict. Each of us demonstrate resilience and adaptability, all the while retaining our moral compass, and we have a similar goal: augmenting and sensitizing IHL.
While we are very passionate towards this goal, we remain flexible and open-minded in regards to the execution of that vision. Our research and analytical skills are our greatest assets, owing to our rich experiences. We always take the opportunity to refine them. We would be immensely grateful if you would consider supporting our attendance by contributing to the expenses incurred.
