My friend Lukas

My name is Lukas I am 4 years old, I am a friend of my owner Evelyn. 

About 3 months ago they took me to the vet because I did not feel like playing or eating, I just wanted to be asleep all day, the veterinarian only prescribed me some dewormers for that I thought I had some bugs in the belly and they injected me with a vaccine that I needed, Little by little I knew that it was something more serious, what I really had to be simple bugs, I knew it because my cheek began to swell, we went to the veterinarian and he told us that it had been an allergic reaction that In a few days I was going to disappear and he only gave me other vitamins so that I had energy, time passed and I remained the same, I didn't feel like playing, I was cornered in serene places, just I wanted to be rested.

I didn't want to keep worrying my family I didn't want them to be sad and especially my owner cried sometimes when she hugged me, they already sensed what I had but we needed a specialist to confirm it, CANCER, my owner and my lifelong friend began to cry when they said I had cancer, hugged me very hard and did not stop crying but I moved my tail because at last they knew what was happening to me, my lack of appetite, pain , and a horrible exhaustion, I thought that since they knew what I had they could cure me but we did not count that the treatment and the operation were very expensive as well as risky, I am already in the time limit, for the first time I see that my owner's dad is crying and because of me. 

I just hope to spend another Christmas with them, no tears, no pain, I just want to be playing with them until I fall asleep.
