I want to travel abroad for the first time and visit a friend in Vietnam!

Hi everyone!

My name is Rifqi and I'm from Denpasar, Indonesia!

My dream is to travel abroad for the first time, and the destination I would like to travel the most is Vietnam, to be able to visit a friend!

A friend I made in Airtripp

I started to use Airtripp to meet people around the world.

In December of last year I made a friend from Vietnam. We started with a simple greeting and now we try to talk everyday.

I would really love to meet this friend in person as well as travelling abroad for the first time! The problem is that it's almost impossible for me to save all the money I need to make this dream come true.

Travelling abroad: I dream I have since long ago

I've been dreaming on travelling abroad since long ago.

I really want to know places and cultures that are different from mine, and there are many countries I would love to visit but, as my friend is living in Vietnam, I would like to travel there.

Vietnam is not so far away from my country, so it won't be very expensive.

Also, prices are kind of affordable. I really hope I can travel outside my country for the first time this year!

I can't do this on my own

I'm working as a barista but my monthly income is just enough for paying my basic needs like rent, transportation and food.

I would really love to be able to run my own business (like a small cafe), but I know that I need to learn more and gain more experience.

I can't count on my parents for this because I know that they are also struggling to make ends meet, so I'm on my own! I just hope I can get some support to be able to fulfill this little dream and meet a friend that has being very important to me during the last months.

Details on needed funds

I want to collect $700 to be able to purchase a flight ticket to Vietnam and pay my stay there. Thank you very much in advance for your support! It means a lot to me!

Schedule

If possible, I would like to travel to Vietnam on August of this year.

I want to visit Hanoi and Ho Chi Min, meet my friend and experience vietnamese culture as much as I can!

In case I can't collect enough funds I won't give up and I will keep doing my best to save enough money, even if I have to do extra work until I achieve my dream. Thank you very much for your support!
