Identity VerifiedA 6.9 magnitude earthquake hit Davao del Sur and several parts of Mindanao, Philippines last November 15, 2019 leaving displaced families and damaged infrastructure. More than a million children and their families were affected – in need of alternative homes, clean drinking water and more, and it is expected to have a prolonged displacement due to scarce resources.
At Airfunding, we are #OneForMindanao as we try to raise funds to help Filipino families in Davao in this challenging time during the most festive time of the year in the country. All donations will be sent through Caritas Manila, the social action arm of the archdiocese of Manila. Funds will be used for the following items:
• Shelter sheets
• Flashlights
• Packed meals
• Blankets
• Mosquito nets
• Toiletries
• Medical kits
