My name is Estefanía Gonzalez. I am 27 years old. My left leg was amputated from above the knee six years ago after a traffic accident. I was hit by a school transport.
I am currently a parajiujitsu athlete, being the only female who representing Argentina.
About a year ago I dedicate myself to compete internationally. With a lot of effort and perseverance this year I won the first Parajiujitsu Paradesportivo tournament that took place in Florianopolis-Brazil in which more than 120 athletes participated.
In November I compete at the Grand Slam, a qualifying tournament for the 2020 World Cup in Abu Dhabi of the AJP of professional jiu jitsu, I was the runner up champion, qualified to enter the world competition.
I am raising funds to travel and participate to the ABU DHABI World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship 2020.
Any help you give is so helpful to me. As jujitsu is not an Olympic sport, I do not get any support from government entities, therefore all expenses come out of my pocket, the idea of campaigning this crowdfunding project is to collect as much support as I can. The rest will be covered by my own savings and some raffles I can make.
My best wishes.
