I am Syrian refugee video producer, help me with a camera

I'm Abod. I'm 20 years old. I'm here because I am still pursuing a big dream since I was a kid: becoming a great artist video editor and producer.

the Syrian war, I was a hardship refugee

I believe in this dream so I study very hard to to achieve it. But unfortunately, when I was at the 9th grade, 7 years ago, the war started in Syria and this war destroyed my school. The school was the only way I know to reach my dream and the war had simply destroyed it.

The war is Syria continue the destruction. My house get burned and destroyed. All my stuffs, memories and certificates is turned into ash.

After we lost everything, we decided to go to Lebanon to start a new life. But I did not lose hope because I thought that I could complete my studies so that I could continue my path towards achieving my dream. But I was wrong.

Since I arrived in Lebanon, I have been exposed to all types of bullying and racism. They did not even allow me to complete my studies, on the pretext that I do not carry any certificate that proves my study. How someone who came from a war and lost his home can bring a certificate?! Even when I brought them a document from my school principal as a proof that I was actually studying, they did not accept it.

From the September 10, 2013 to the 5th of October 2015, I am in a state of despair and total surrender. It was one of the worst days I've ever had in my life

But after that i remember my dream and how i fight for it and i decide to raise again and fight to achieve my dream even without school.

I'm a self taught artist

I decided to teach myself from the internet. I taught myself drawing, photography, video editing, and English. I spent more than a year and a half learning very hard. I decided to help everyone who suffered like me and moved away from his dream.

Since the beginning of 2017, I started working with an organization as a teacher assistant in the field of photography and editing. At the end of 2017, I volunteered to provide a classroom to teach the art of painting for young people with the help of the same organization. I have taught many young people about art so that it could help them find a job. I really wanted to change society for the better.

In April 2018 I entered a competition for entrepreneurship, and I introduced an art production project, and my project was one of the projects that was accepted. And now I still need two thing to start my project: a video camera and a laptop.

Please support me with a camera and laptop

I need the money so I can buy a camera for me to work in my current domain: Lebanon. Due to everything I've been through, I would name my own studio "Dream Road" studio.

The camera I need is Panasonic Lumix GH5, 4K Mirrorless Camera w/ 45-150mm Lens & 64GB SD Card Bundle, at $1,500 USD. I can get the camera from local stores in Beriut, Lebanon

If I get more support, I'd like to buy a very fast laptop that can handle all type of video editing. The laptop I need is Asus ROG Strix, at another $ 1,500 USD
