Franco's Parvo Battle!

Franco is the son of my two dogs, Suce and Boshi. He is just 5 months old and has been my shoulder and partner since he started his first few steps. Our family loves him so much. He has such a personality that we call him Vacuum Franco since he'll eat almost anything in a short amount of time. He is also the most hyper of all the dogs and never fails to make us laugh. He's very clumsy but always gets up whenever he stumbles and falls. He is the dearest and most loving dog I ever had.. Recently he's been infected with Parvo. Parvo is a highly contagious virus. It causes an infectious gastrointestinal (GI) illness in puppies and young dogs, and without treatment, it is potentially deadly. Currently he is in the vet being cared for. We've been making sure that he gets the best treatment to ensure he is home by Christmas. But as he is being treated,  our funds are beginning to get depleted. We've spent almost Php 9,000 ($177.37) on his confinement, medicines, Vet fees and tests just to get him better.  This is why I'm starting a gofundme so that I could help my parents with Franco's Vet bills. All Php 10148.55 ($200) will go directly to the bills. If there are extra donations, they will go straight to PAWS. PAWS (The Philippine Animal Welfare Society) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of animal welfare through education, animal sheltering, and advocacy. Throught them I hope that they too would help raise awareness against Parvo Virus.  

I do hope this reaches many and that many will support in Franco's healing and in raising awareness to fight against Parvo.

Franco is already out of the vet but medication is still needed. Unfortunately Franco's Dad, Boshi is also positive and was rushed to the vet last night. I still want to continue the fundraiser and donate it to a local Animal Welfare organization I plan to partner with. The funds would directly go to projects to raise awareness regarding the Parvo Virus
