Bike trip to Eastern Europe for 21 days

This is Max, he is a Crossfit trainer and rehabilitologist. We love riding bicycle since our childhood, we constantly use the bicycle as a transport to roam around the city, outside the city, as active leisure, as a sport.

Occasionally, we went on long trips over rough terrain in Ukraine, as well as across the Republic of Belarus, that took 5 days to 20 days. We are members of a travelers community https://ru.warmshowers.org/ and we host travelers at our home, help them to navigate around Kiev and make excursions. This year, we hosted 3 cycling travelers couples from Germany, Switzerland and Australia.

Cycling across Eastern Europe

We dream to go on a fascinating cycling trip to Eastern Europe in 21-25 May 2020.

Our route is as follows: Kiev - Lviv - Krakow - Prague - Vienna - Bratislava - Budapest - Uzhgorod - Kiev. A route plan has already been drawn up, the plan covers places we will visit, as well as places where we can try traditional cuisine and stay overnight.

Our Plan

On our planned route, we plan to visit as many neighboring countries as possible, cities, historical places, monuments, museums, explore the diversity of cuisine, traditions, architecture, history.

We plan to create a bicycle guide on our route, make recommendations and reports on places to stay overnight, places for delicious food, checkpoints for bicycles repair stations, places for bike parking and evaluate the road condition for bike travelers, and of course describe all the difficulties that we encounter during our way and how we will solve them. As an artist, I plan to create a series of sketches from the area, architecture, streets, etc.

We plan to distribute all the collected funds to campsites, meals, transfers between difficult sections of the road, sight and museums visiting during our stay, as well as creating an electronic mini guide with our trip description .
