Philippines is one of the typhoon prone countries in the pacific and one of the most affected areas of the most recent typhoon Ursula is DaanBantayan, Cebu. (See pictures courtesy of the municipality of Daanbantayan).
Last Christmas, while the rest of the world is in celebration, thousands of families in the Visayas lost their homes and livelihood.
This is the reason why our Community partnered with organizations to bring a meal specifically designed for kids, called Vitameal.
Instead of donating canned goods, noodles, etc, which don't have the nutrients needed, we chose to donate a bag of vitameal as it contains 25 nutrients scientifically proven to nourish not only the physical but is also great for the child's brain development.
A bag of vitameal will feed a child for 30 days. And it costs around $30 US.
We already have a pick up location in Cebu city and my friend Myrna Walter is willing to facilitate the delivery of these bags to their area as she knows the vice mayor there.
Your help of any amount will surely contribute and we will make sure that they reach to the children in need.
Please keep coming back for updates.
