Please help us for her surgery and medications ??

Hello everyone,

I am Editha Guioguio from Philippines. I am currently working as cashier.

I am caring Charmy, my sister

Last 26th December 2019, Charmy was rushed to San Juan De Dios Hospital Emergency Unit after several days of gastro pains, foot ulcer infections, fever and fatigue. All due to the diabetes complications. She was immediately got transferred to critical ward and doctors diagnosed her with life-threatening condition called Diabetic Ketoacidosis.

It is a serious complication of diabetes that occurs when our body produces high levels of blood acids called ketones. The condition develops when our body can't produce enough insulin and without enough insulin, our body begins to break down fat as fuel.

After days of thorough medications, her condition stabilizes. However, it didn’t resolve her severe foot ulcer (another diabetic complication) and has to undergo below-knee leg amputation to eliminate spreading of infections to the rest of her body.

Last 3rd January (also her 34th birthday), she lost her leg but her hope to continue her life is still fully intact.

Please help us to cover the bill

Everyday her hospital bill is mounting and our family is looking for any means to cope up with the expenses.

Currently, our outstanding bill reach $4,000 USD. And we get notification to pay it as soon as possible.

We can not work normally but have to take care of her

Charmy is important for us. When she was healthy, she take care of my youngest child and my father. Now she need us and we do our best to help her.

After 2 weeks absent from my work to take care of her, now I have to go back to work. It is my husband who stop working to take care of Charmy in the hospital. For this constrains, we do need your help.

Every help extended is not only monetary support but a “cheer” for Charmy to happily continue life no matter how it overturns. She might have lost a leg but please let us not cut HOPE for her and her family!!
