Fund-raising for Surgery

Hello everyone!

My name is Carmina Mercedez from Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. My boyfriend Melencio, most people call him Dos, is now facing a life trial.

We've been together since 2015. We met at church. He played the guitar and keyboards and I was a singer.

My loved one got Desmoid Tumor

A few months ago my boyfriend and I went to the hospital because he had a fever and some abdominal pain. We thought maybe we'd just go get a prescription from the ER and go home. But no. Eventually we found out he has a rare condition called Aggressive Fibromatosis otherwise known as a Desmoid Tumor.

Its a benign tumor but even when removed it WILL grow back. He had surgery last June 25, 2019. We spent his birthday in the hospital. We were expecting to have surgery again in a few years but within 7 months only he's back in the hospital again needing another surgery ? He also needs to undergo several colonoscopies because his colon is full of polyps. I almost lost him during the 1st surgery. I don't want to see him struggling again.

Help us to cover the upcoming surgery cost

We need funds to help us figure out what else is wrong with him and get him as healthy as possible. I am trying my best to come up with funds to help him. But I can't do it on my own. Be both are ordinary people, he works as a Customer Service Representative and I do home-baking to make a living.

His first surgery cost $24,000 USD that made his family sold their property. Now we barely have no more funds. But I just found out a hospital that can help him with his surgery for a better price. But since he needs continuous treatment, every cent we receive here will go to his upcoming hospital bills, treatment and medical bills. This is his preliminary bill during the first 10 days of staying in the hospital started on June 18th, 2019. It does not include the doctors fee yet and some additional medicine from the pharmacy.

Please if there is anyone out there willing to help. I will be forever grateful. We are hoping maybe a stranger like you would help us. We appreciate any amount or any kind of help. Your prayers also mean so much to us.
