I want to collect fund to build a Balinese Traditional house

Hello! "Om Swastiastu"

My name is Gede Angga Wisnawa and I live in Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia.

I am 26 years old Balinese man who has a dream to build a Traditional Architecture family house in Denpasar, Bali.

A dream to make a Traditional Bali House

I have still my dad (56yo) with me. He was an artist of Balinese stone carving and he also has the same dream as me. Every day we talk about how we will build the house, what to put on the entrance, what kind of flowers we will put around our family temple like we already have the money to do it.

It's really sad that we are only cheering for ourselves every day. We were can only do what we only can do slowly. We know there's still a long way to go, but we will keep smiling and never lose faith.

There are not so many things to see yet, but sometimes we have visitors from other countries that cheering us up with laugh and joy. We are very glad to have them with us. We are more than happy to welcome them again and let them stay with us in our Traditional Balinese house to experience the culture and atmosphere of Bali when the house is complete, or even other visitors who like to come and stay are very welcomed too!

I work as a hotel staff around Ubud area. As a staff of the hotel, my income is low and especially during the pandemic, the tourist was greatly decreased, I don't have much left over from my salary at the end of the month.

I tried my best to save my profit and salary like already 6 years and by now it is not even 1/18 of the total cost. I found that it is like impossible for me to make my dream come true

That is why, I tried to make fundraising, for helping my dad and my dream became true in this "Land of Gods"!

Building plan details, and our progress

I would like to make a real traditional Balinese house, and it is quite expensive.

Balinese traditional house has separate parts of the building, like as shown below

I have started this fundraising since May 2019, and I got some support from my friends and we make some progress to realize our dream

It is still far from a half-way, help us to complete our dream

We used that collected amount to build and improve our construction little by little and step by step

However, it still far to call it a complete traditional Balinese house. We still need some funds to complete the construction.

We will surely build it little by little, your help will be much appreciated!

The money we're trying to raise will directly be used to buy materials like wood, sand, cement, ceramics, tiles, stones, and marbles. We are not using a carpenter by now to reduce the cost.
