Hello From Colombia!

My name is Davies!

I live and work in Cartagena, Colombia as an English teacher in an institution. My family however live in Ghana, west Africa.

I fell in love with Cartagena, Colombia

I am an EFL teacher in the beautiful city of Cartagena in Colombia. I arrived in Colombia in 2018 from my home country Ghana (West Africa) and I have been teaching English in one of the finest Language institutions in the country.

I first visited Cartagena in July 2019 and i fell in love with the city as it reminded me so much of my home country and so, I applied to my company to be transferred to work there which was successful.

I finally moved to Cartagena in October 2019 and I haven't had any regrets but my heart yearns to support underprivileged communities in and around the city with some form of education.

We would like to provide education for underprivileged children

I have been able to have some colleagues and friends to come on board to share our knowledge with people of these communities

We would like to create an informal educational program where we can teach especially science, technology, Engineering, English and mathematics (STEM) among other important subjects to help in adding some value to the lives of these people.

This project aims at supporting underprivileged members of the community with a community learning centre to support STEM education for kids in the community

Usage of the funds

I need your support to raise money to support this project as we need to create some space (classrooms) and provide learning materials as well.

Apart from cash donations, we will appreciate any other form of contributions towards realizing this mission.
