Luisa has only one eye. Together we can save her vision!

Hello everyone

My name is Cecilia Arteaga De Pool, I currently live in Santiago, Chile, but I am Venezuelan. In Chile I earn a living as a waitress.

My aunt needs me

My aunt's name is Luisa Teresa De Pool Urdaneta, a Venezuelan, currently lives in Maracaibo. Luisa is my aunt godmother, she's like a mother to me.

Luisa lives in Venezuela, she is not allowed to travel because of the high tension in her eye. Although we live in different places, we are always in touch, I love her and I don't want her to lose her sight.

Luisa always fights for her vision.

15 years ago she suffered an unfortunate accident that caused severe cataracts in both eyes, then completely losing one of them. With a beautiful spirit and a strong soul she continued to live normally with the help of an eye prosthesis and the vision of his only good one eye.

In the year 2019 he wakes up with a very dark and blurred vision. As for this, the doctor diagnosed her with retinal detachment.

With many supports and love from all her relatives, she managed to undergo a surgery, hoping to recover 40% of her vision.

At the beginning 2020 he was diagnosed with "corneal edema". But despite of this bad medical diagnosis, today we found out that she need a valve to recover at least 30% of her vision and lead a "normal" life, also saving her eye from a very possible glaucoma, which would be catastrophic for her visual health.

Regarding her third operation, we sincerely need more than $1,500 dollars, but I am doing everything in my power to help her because I love her so much.

Let's help Luisa undergo her final eye surgery

Regarding her health issue today, Luisa was diagnosed with glaucoma two days ago, so we need to speed up the fundraising campaign because she should be operated no later than the next month.
