Help me fund Mom's Chemotherapy for metastatic breast cancer

Hello everyone,

My name is Herlyn Angeles, from Marikina City, Philippines. And this is my mom, Esperanza Gelen Angeles, 68 years old, a housewife.

Mom's cancer is back

My mother was diagnosed for stage 2 breast cancer on last November 2011 and underwent surgery and a chemo on December 2011. So it was 9 years ago. But started on late 2018 she felt that there were lumps on her neck and chest were the cancer was removed.

On January 2019, last year, I was informed that my mother's cancer returned and she need to undergo 18 cycles of chemotherapy. Due to efforts and help of friends and family, she finished 12 cycle of her chemotherapy. We still have 6 cycles left.

2 months more to go for mom's chemotherapy

We need to undergo 6 cycles of chemotherapy, which will take about 2 months. The chemotherapy has 3 cycle a month. The cost of chemotherapy medicine per cycle is PHP 6,720, plus the room at Outpatient Department will cost us PHP 1,600 after discounts. So to complete the 6 cycles, we will need PHP PHP 49,920 or $1,000 USD.

Later on, the vial that she was using isn't effective anymore, she needs to change the drugs. Change the drugs means there will be more laboratory because it has side effects that may affect her heart.

We also need laboratories and the laboratories are 2D echo, PHP 1,700; CT Scan, PHP 12,000; and contrast, PHP 1, 843. So the total laboratory test will cost us PHP 15,543 or $311 USD.

I have 3 siblings and all or them have their own family. So I'm the only one who tries to provide. Since mama has cancer, it frustrate all the family member and recently my dad had a stroke that pile up another expense to our family.

Besides the above medical cost, mom just got a prescription for another laboratory test that cost 6,970 PHP or $140 USD and a medication prescription for 90 days that cost about 9,510 PHP or $240 USD. I try to do my best, but I could only buy her the medication for 15 days. Please help us.
