Benji hospitalization and surgery

Hello everyone

My name is Guadalupe Sagrario de Carlo Sanchez, I am 30 years old, I dedicate myself to photography and I study film, I live in Mexico City.

He is Benji. He is approximately 10 years old. His mother is Mago, a 65-year-old lady who loves her dog very much, since he has been her partner since her husband died.

Benji was accidentally attacked and seriously injured

On Thursday, January 30, 2020 Benji was attacked by a San Bernardo who almost killed him, we took him immediately to the hospital where he was surgically operated, the surgery lasted just over four hours, he had to remove 10cm of intestine, rebuild the bladder and abdominal wall, among other things.

Benji could survive from the surgery! The prognosis is still reserved, for 72 hours he must pass to the intestine assessment and approximately five days assessment for the bladder.

Mago can't pay his high medical bills

So far the hospital account exceeds $12,000 (twelve thousand Mexican pesos) or $625 USD and it increases day by day. If there is no complication, he could be discharged on Sunday, February 8, so the account could be extended.

On February 19, he was discharged, is still under treatment but is doing very well. Finally, Benji's treatment cost Mago $17,799 (seventeen thousand seven hundred ninety-nine Mexican pesos) or $925 USD. That amount was impossible for his human mother (Mago) or us.

Mago, is my mom's friend. So here we are. We help her to get the money to save Benji. She does not have the resources, since she is a widow and her pension is very low.
