Travel to participate in the World Choir Games in Belgium

Hi Everyone!

I am from Mexico, My name is Ana González and I am a member of the Yubarta Vocal Ensemble

Yubarta Vocal Ensemble is a group formed by amateur singers, each with different occupations in their daily lives,

In here, we have the same goal, the same purpose: to be happy singing and share music with others.

I joined the Yubarta Vocal Ensemble in September last year. Now, We are 11 members in total: 3 sopranos, 3 high, 2 tenors, 2 low and the director.

We will participate in the World Choir Games in Belgium

The World Choir Games are held every two years. We sent our data and an audio type as an audition, It was like a dream that we passed a screening and they made us the official invitation.

In July of this year (July 5 to July 15), we will have the opportunity to share the music of Mexico for the other countries, since we will participate in the 11th edition of the World Choir Games in Belgium

There will be about 500 choirs from all over the world. It will also be the first time that a South Californian choir competes in this festival, and we will be proud if we can give our best and participate in it!

I am seeking support for our flight ticket to belgium

I am raising funds because the cost of the tickets is already expensive and as we get closer to the date it becomes more and more inflated.

Currently, i am still a student. With my studies, I don't have much time to get a job and my parents don't have such a high salary either.

All of the gathered funds will be used to buy a flight ticket and for the accommodation. The date of competition is near day by day, This detail explained below is an estimated, because the fare of flight ticket might get more expensive.

In addition to raising funds, at the university I have been organizing to sell sweets, t-shirts, I have opened audio mastering commissions, I am about to open a Saturday audio mastering workshop as well, and together with yubarta on weekends we have been singing to restaurants to talk to people about our project and we have been receiving many tips, we have also been having concerts and all the money raised is for this.
