For more than 10 years, the Harmony Children's Choir has been traveling through the cities of Ukraine and giving charity performances or concerts.

The Chronicles of Narnia

Last year, March 2019, in the spring we showed the play “The Chronicles of Narnia” and visited Kiev, Rhea, Zhytomyr, Skole, Turku and Vishnevoe. And three years ago, we traveled for three years in a row with the play "The Snow Queen" and showed it in 17 cities of Ukraine, and this performance was attended by more than 5 thousand young spectators.

Children play music using wooden spoons - 10 workshops in 5 cities

Children's choir Harmony wants to teach children from boarding schools to play music using wooden spoons.

Our plan

During the spring break from March 20 to 30, we plan to go around different boarding schools and conduct 10 master classes in 5 cities of Ukraine. We want to visit Rivne, Dubno, Khmelnitsky, Zhytomyr, Kiev and near Kiev: Irpen, Bucha, Boyark, Cherry.

Children will hold a master class for children on wooden spoons, so that every boarding school pupil can feel the situation of success, learn to play, and develop musical ear and all acquired skills contributed to the formation of the children's team of the institution.

Help us with transport and materials

We are raising funds for a team’s travel to boarding schools in Ukraine to cover travel expenses between cities and the cost of wooden spoons, which are used for master classes and are left in the institution for the further development of children.

The composition of the children's team for this project is 25 people, we will need UAH 31,750 for transportation costs (these are tickets to 3 cities: Kiev, Chernivtsi and Khmelnitsky, the team is in Kharkov) and UAH 5,750 for spoons (this will cover the cost of 5 boarding schools out of 10 ).

Other expenses (UAH 62500): the road to the remaining 2 cities, the purchase of spoons for another 5 schools, meals and accommodation for children (for all 10 days), the team will cover from other sources.
