SUPPORT FOR RENOVATION OF VE SENIOR HIGH CLASSROOM BLOCKS.

Ve senior high school was established in 1st September, 1968 with 32 students, 2 permanent teachers a dormitory block of ex – E.P. middle school of Ve – Koloenu. In 1994, the school was fully absorbed into the public education system and awarded a boarding status in 2012. The school is located about 20km south of Hohoe on the Hohoe – Accra main road at Ve – Koloenu with a land area of 136 acres that can be used for infrastructure development as well as for agricultural projects.The school has a population of 707 students made up of 331 males and 376 females. The total staff strength is 88 made up of 59 teaching staff and 29 non – teaching staff.Since 1994, our classrooms has not seen any renovations. The floors are broken, all louvers are broken, classroom doors are also broken, and students become very dirty after classes close. When it rains’ students and teachers are well soaked. Students are in constant fear when there a rain storm. Classroom furniture is another problem. Because of the rain soaking them most furniture is broken.The school has also never benefited from any developmental projects since 2012. Classroom blocks are highly needed to help reduce the stress on the ones we have and to prevent them from getting wrecked.With the above problems our school needs an urgent renovation to the classroom blocks. We would be very grateful if you could come to our aid and renovate them for the school.MAJOR RENOVATION WORKS The classrooms 1. Two (2) 3-unit classroom blocks.2. One (1) 3-unit pavilion block.3. One (1) long classroom hall.4. One (1) 5-unit classroom block converted to administration block. These renovations will go a long way to promote academic performance and general discipline of student as a whole in the school.
