Save Palestinian diabetic refugee kids

Hi everyone,

My name is Rita, I am 7 years old, type 1 diabetic, and I live with my family in Jalazone refugee camp in West Bank. I am suffering from blood test injection every 10 -15 minutes.

My parent pricking my finger to obtain a blood sample several times a day (painful), with a lot of pricking times, I had no empty space for injection.

My suffering for getting diabetes was alleviated when I received glucometer sensors through JICA emergency assistance to Palestinian refugee camps amid of COVID-19 through the project “Refugee Camp Improvement Project” (PALCIP), which designed to detect glucose levels, but the device lasts for 14 days only and it’s expensive.

In addition to me, another 8 diabetic kids in the refugee camp suffering, and we need your help to buy glucometer sensors for 4 months ahead.

The 8 diabetic kids would be members at Jalazone camp Healthy Cooperative. The cooperative will use the fund to purchase the sensors and then will promote the collective selling for the kid members with special discount. The money will be revolving for the sensors purchase and reselling.
