My name is Alejandro, a Investigador - Profesor from Ecuador!
BOOK OF ANCIENT PHOTOGRAPHS OF ECUADOR
This idea comes because I have discovered in my research more than 4000 photos that nobody knows about my country Ecuador in old times. All photos are unpublished.
And so far I have identified 500 PHOTOS approx.
I would like to publish the old unpublished photo in a book
The book is finished but I have no funds to print it.
I already selected 250 best photos to be publish in my book.
some examples of the picture are Deputy Officer Demétrio Mena - fighter of the war of Ecuador - Peru in 1941, Family trip from Quito to Shell Mera in 1940, Football team in Otavalo in 1925, Artists group with relatives in COTACACHI 1940, Fausto Gallardo Vaca (Famous Ecuadorian Artist) in 1970, Earthquake in Ecuador - Ibarra 1949, Police Training between 1920 and 1930 in Quito and still many more!!!
The picture above will be the cover book.
My Plan
I would like to publish 250 old photos of Ecuador.
With explanations in german, english and spanish, and I will print 1000 books in great format!
Detail on needed funds
Printing in Ecuador is relatively cheap compared to other countries, But I don't have the capital for this project.
That is approximately of the total cost i need. The more i able to collect money, i will print more books.
I Try my best to realize this project
I have talked about this project on TV AND RADIO so that people know it.
I really wants to Disseminate the Photographic Memory of Ecuador to the World
