Please Help Save a Brother from serious Debt

Hello everyone

My name is Adebayo Ayobami from Lagos, Nigeria. I am 27 years of age with a wife and two kids. I used to work in a Coca-Cola company here in Lagos between 2017-2020. 

Before the Coronavirus pandemic and the general lockdown, some staff were laid off to cut cost. Unfortunately, I was among those who were laid off. I had to use what I had save to feed my family during the lockdown.

After staying home for some months, I started looking for a new job because I was already running out of the money I had save. 

See, getting a job here in Nigeria is not easy at all. You have to know someone in power or know someone who knows someone in power. 

After many attempt to get a new job but all to no avail, I decided to take a loan in February 2021 to start a new business. 

As expected, things were going on well or should I say, fairly okay. So in August, I took another loan to help move my business forward. But that has appeared to be the worse decision I have ever made in my life!

I have not be able to repay my loan which has been due for 4 months now and the penalty fee keeps increasing everyday. All my contacts now know I took a loan and worse still, they are been disturbed by the company I took the loan from.

Here in Nigeria, if you take a loan with no collateral, most of the lenders here will request permission to your phone contacts, call history and your photo gallery.

My contacts have been sent many messages from my lender and they are really getting snaky with me. A lawyer has even taken up my case.

I have since then left Lagos to another state because of the embarrassment.

I am hoping that through this campaign I can get some help to pay back my debt and also get my family back on its feet. 

My aim is to pay back my debt, save myself from the embarrassment and get my life back together. I cannot make this happen without your financial support. No amount is too small; every single dollar is very appreciated.
