Let's help Nury with his Knee Recovery

My name is Leandro, and i am seeking a support for help my partner, nury.

We are a Venezuelan couple who live in Peru, opening the way to move forward and we had this situation that is making our goals a bit difficult

Nury diagnosed with genu valgo

Nury Briceño, 25 years old from Ciudad Bolívar, Venezuela but she currently living in Lima, Peru.

About 5 years ago Nury was diagnosed with a deviation in the left knee called genu valgo:

Genu valgo or commonly called "knock-knee", is a condition in which the knees angle in and touch each other when the legs are straightened.

Nury's knees problem increased in the past few months

The same is that her legs have an exaggerated inclination and that seriously affects her knee and femur, previously she was generating wear on both parts and it was only causing pain, with a treatment which she was following she could have a quality life without complications.

The problem was that a couple of months ago Nury had a strong fall and since then my knee problems have increased a lot, after the fall when she had X-rays and Ultrasound:

Nury was diagnosed with Anserine Bursitis and had to receive corticosteroid treatments through intra-articular infiltrations.

After the treatment, we found out that nury have Chondromalacia Patellar

The treatment of corticosteroid through intra-articular infiltrations was really hurt, they are very painful, both of her knee received the treatment, she got quite tears.....

After the treatment, the condition improved a little but the pain did not ease. She had an MRI last January 2020. The result was quite shocking for us because it turns out that She have Chondromalacia Patellar.

This condition needs a special type of infiltration, which consists of infiltrating hyaluronic acid

That kind of medication and treatment is not easy to obtain and is very expensive.

In addition, She must follow a strict diet to lose weight under the supervision of a nutritionist and receive physical therapy for 4 months in order to stop the wear and tear that her knee is carrying and to have a life without complications.

All of the funds collected will be used for nury medical needs such as the therapy and her upcoming treatment for special type of infiltration.
