My son needs to undergo a high-cost operation.

Hi everyone

My name is Karem Muñoz Guerrero, I live with my partner and my son in Chile

My son has achondroplasia

My beautiful baby named Bruno López Muñoz.

He is 1 year 4 months old. He was born with a condition called achondroplasia, the most common form of dwarfism and worldwide speaking 1 in 25,000 babies are born with this condition (or they also consider it as a syndrome).

My son Need to undergo a surgery

Among all the complications that a person with this condition can have during his life is the stenosis of the foramen magnum or also known as a Chiari malformation.

By not operating this in time, the motor, neurological part among others is compromised.

Details on needed funds

The surgery will cost about 14.924.600 Chilean pesos or approximately about 17,194USD. This huge number is very difficult to reach for me and my partner. We keep looking for a miracle and hoping that my son can be treated as we never give up.

This is why it needs to be operated and for that I resort to your help, in order to raise funds.

We have campaigned at the community level but it is not enough yet.
