Chemotherapy for Mama.

Dear all,

My name is Rubie Carole Campeon from Digos City, Philippines. Currently, I am a librarian at one of the University at Davao City, Philippines.

At present, I reside in Davao City because I work here, but I go home to my home in Digos where my Mama Elizabeth Campeon-Alegado and my whole family reside every weekend and holidays.

Mama's breast cancer is back!

Mama was diagnosed with Stage 2B Breast Cancer in 2016. She had her chemotherapy during that year and oral chemo from 2017-2019. We really thought she will get better until last May 2019, a cancer recurrence happened to mama and became aggressive at STAGE 4.

We made the necessary actions, taking her to the doctor for a check-up, bought her medicines.

The Chemo Cost is Really Very Expensive

However last December 2019, one of her doctors advised us to have mama her chemotherapy, and when checked, it will cost 400,000 Philippine Peso, which is really very expensive. In USD it would be around $7,800 USD.

She needed to undergo 3 cycles of chemo, every cycle needed 7 vials of treatment which costs almost PHP 20,000 or $390 USD per vial. The hospital cannot accommodate her injections because there is no stock available for the said medical treatment and had to be bought outside the hospital. Each cycle will have only 23 days interval.

Please assist her to undergo the chemotheraphy

We tried to apply for other charitable works in Davao and asked medical assistance from the local government unit but still, it is very hard for us to comply with the amount to buy my mama's chemo injections.

Mama needs immediate chemotherapy. We have big hope here, to get some help. Thank you for willing to be the one among people who help us.

I want Mama to be healed and be cancer free. She is my everything.
