I want to study Electrical engineering in University!

Nice to meet you! My name is Kingsford and I live in Ashaiman, Ghana!

My dream is to become an electrical engineer and that's why I wish to study electrical engineering in University!

Towards a bright future

I dream of becoming an electrical engineer.

When I was a child I help my brother in his tasks as an electrician. I really loved it since the beginning and I wanted to know everything about this field and for that I studied Applied electricity in high school.

If I get to study in University I could become a more complete engineer and I will be able to get a good job or, even better, to make my own company!

No money, no dreams

I don't know where my dad is (I've never met him).

My mum was having troubles to find a job and that's why my grandmother took me to live with her in the countryside. That's what I did until the moment my grandmother passed away when I was 17 years old. Then, I moved to the city to find a job.

My mum is currently married to another man and they have 2 kids so they are not able to help me with the school fees.

Starting to develop my future dream

Currently I work selling credit cards in a small shop.

When I graduate I would like to work as electrical engineer. I think it won't be difficult as there is not many people with this kind of studies.

When I have enough resources I want to establish my own company which will benefit not only me but other people who will be working there as well as helping high technical schools with equipment to enhance their studies.

It's a big dream but I will do my best in order to fulfill it!

Details on needed funds

I need $1,718 to pay all school fees. My current savings are not bigger than $70, but I think I will be able to save up to $250 before paying the admission fee.

Schedule

I want to start in October of next year -this year is already too late-, so I will need to pay the entrance and school fee before July of next year. It's a 3 year course.

If I'm not able to collect enough funds I will keep working to save enough money to make my dream come true!
