We are Mikaela, Adrián and Angelov, and we are the founders of the "Peru can play hockey" project. Field hockey is a highly concentrated sport in a few clubs in the downtown area of the capital. For the 2019 Pan American Games, a beautiful field admired by many was built on the outskirts of the city (photo), in a low-income district called Villa María del Triunfo. This field has helped make Peruvian hockey known, since you can see how selected (including Mikaela and Angelov) train here.
This project seeks to create workshops in low-income areas so that Peruvian hockey has more players and from different districts of the capital. Unfortunately, the equipment required is quite expensive and so is the rental of the courts. We started by investing our own time and money and now we are in the process of becoming an NGO!!!
But now we need your help to finance our project and the dreams of these kids.
