Funds for travel expenses to receive brachytherapy uterine carcinoma

My name is José, I am raising funds for travel expenses to another city to complete brachytherapy radiotherapy treatment in the uterus, since last year in May he was diagnosed with stage IIIC undifferentiated uterine carcinoma, they performed surgery to remove the womb , appendix and others, he underwent 6 cycles of chemotherapy and 25 radiotherapy, the latter affected him a lot, with constant diarrhea, vomiting, a lot of decay, fortunately he did not lose his appetite at all and that has helped him a lot, they prescribed medicine for diarrhea and the vomiting, the latter had a solution, however the diarrhea did continue, they formulated powdered physiological saline, but that if it produces vomiting, we tried a liquid that here in Colombia is called Electrolit and because it is less brackish and sweeter it suited him well, but it is not covered by the EPS, at the end of the 25 radiotherapy approximately 10 days ago the doctor of this specialty ordered 4 sessions of brachytherapy, but unfortunately in that Hospital (Hospital Hernando Moncaleano Perdomo of the City of Neiva in Colombia,) they closed the radiotherapy unit because they are going to change the machine and reopen in October (In Neiva it is the only machine), given this the EPS AIC authorized him in the City of Cali to initially assess again in Radiotherapy so that he can determine if they apply the four brachytherapy or increase the doses, this EPS only has an agreement in that city, the latter is 12 hours from Neiva, and according to what they inform us the brachytherapy treatment if they approve only the 4, it takes us to be in that city approximately 15 days, the EPS is still studying if they approve the transportation to and from my mother and perhaps transportation to and from the companion, they told us that there is no possibility of aid for accommodation, food and urban transportation, we are poor, we have no relatives who support us financially, I am the only child and I have not been able to get a job since 2020 and a few days ago I started a business selling desserts and sandwiches, to help us, although it is going well for me in the sense of almost daily sales, the profit that is little, partially helps with daily expenses, my Mom is 71 years old.

The appointment in Cali is scheduled for May 3.

We are grateful to the people who can give us a donation for those expenses that we are going to have to go to that city to take said treatment.
