I want to to be able to study again and support my family!

Nice to meet you! My name is Tinkale and I'm from Lusaka, Zambia.

My family is going through really bad times since my mum's death, and we need some economic support to make things out.

My mother passed away due to a kidney failure

On April of 2017 I lost my mum because of kidney failure.

My mum was the breadwinner of our family. She took care of my of me and my 2 siblings until the day she died and she has left a huge void.

We couldn't afford a memorial service and a proper stone for her tomb.

I had to stop studying to feed my family

I left college when my mum passed away.

Currently I live alone and I work in a beauty saloon getting a monthly wage of $25 that helps my brother and sister to keep going to school. They are living with our uncle.

Our uncle is helping with their school expenses, but as he has his own family is really hard to him to pay the whole thing.

As you can imagine my salary is just enough to afford daily life expenses and help a little my siblings. As long as they can have food I'm okay.

But I really need to go back to college to graduate and be able to choose a good job to support my family.

My grandparents have to keep working despite their age

My grandparents are working in a farm.

Due to their age they are too tired to keep working, but as the whole family goes through economic problems they can't stop.

I would like to do anything in my power to let them retire for good.

We need $2,810 to solve this crisis in my family. The amount we can afford is $400.

If I receive enough support I will be back to college to study Medicine, that was me and my mum's dream.

I also will celebrate a memorial service for my mum and buy a stone for her tomb. Also I will keep one part for my grandparents so they can retire.
