I'm a South African Pianist, in Lockdown

Dear friends,

My name is Ronnie and I am a professional self-taught pianist based in South Africa.

Music is my life

For the last 40 years I have performed all over this beautiful country: South Africa. I performed at various places, from old homes to six-star hotels.

Music has afforded me a happy and peaceful life, although, like Mozart, it doesn't give me too much money.

The coronavirus containment measures affect me a lot

Due to the current Cononavirus containment measures including firm lockdown imposed by the South African government, I have lost almost all opportunity to earn income for myself from playing music. All future performances were cancelled, and public gathering might me banned in the future. It's hard for me since I'm not young anymore.

I'll do my best to adapt to the new situation

I believe, helps could come from anywhere. I've been live alone, but I'm so grateful to have best friends like Manie & Beth Human. Beth has been the one who help me get on this site and has been of great assistance to me. She is also the person who is helping me to make recordings of my songs that will be uploaded on this AirFunding site.
