Help Extend The Life Of My Mom

Good day, Brothers and Sisters!

My name is Johnny Bulanadi Dela Merced.

First of all, I would like to wish everyone well and of in good health amidst the chaos of the pandemic happening around the world.

While the rest of the world is observing home quarantine to prevent the virus from spreading, my family, especially my mother, was forced to be admitted in the hospital caused by acute kidney injury due to ureteral obstruction causing her to acquire 24 thousand bacterial infection and skyrocketed her creatinine to 8. This condition made her very weak and, to our sadness, made her mind not working normally.

It is in our deepest sadness to think that we would never see her again, but there will always be a spark of light at the end of the darkness if only we hold on together. We were forced to have her admitted amidst the fact that she would be at risk for infection to COVID-19 -- we have no other choice but to prioritize her wellness. Unfortunately, she developed pneumonia at the moment and is forced to be transferred on an isolation room for proper care. We couldn’t even see or be there with her in this time of trouble because of the quarantine.

I ultimately understand that jobs/incomes are all on a stop at the moment and so does mine. I am one of my family’s breadwinner and I myself is quarantined at the moment. The hospital where Nanay is confined is also needed to be funded and the area where she is right now is financially challenging. Sadly we are not able to produce the amount needed for all the medical needs to be used; and, to our despair, medication and treatment will stop if we are not able to provide the finances. My mom is alone and all we can do is find resources to continue her medication.

All we wanted right now is the swift recovery of my dear mom so that we will be reunited again.
