My name is Ana María, I am 19 years old and I am from Colombia. At times I am working on my own to be able to attend this long-awaited meeting, the World Youth Day in August 2023, and complete the money for the trip, which is equivalent to USD 2,600.
It has not been an easy task and the date is getting closer. At the moment I have only managed to get 30% of the value of the flights but I know that with your help I will be able to complete the money that I am missing.
What is WYD?
It is an event of the Catholic Church where all the young people of the world gather to see Father Francisco in the same place (Lisbon) leaving behind the comforts, family and friends to be able to grow in the love of God and be true street people of the faith. It is a unique encounter which I would like to be able to experience.
