Helping Two Families during the Pandemic Period in Morocco

Hello everybody,

I'm Youssef. I work as a graphic designer and I live in Tanger in the north of Morocco.

Join me for a good cause

The news of Morocco confinement that will last one more month pushes me to ask for help to continue supporting 2 families that I have been helping for 1 month. Only now, I'm stretched to the limit of my ability.

I invite anyone to join me in allowing these families to have a stable food supply, to pay their rents and to survive during these difficult times.

1. Khénifra family

This is a family who lives in the Moroccan Middle Atlas mountains (in the region of the city of Khénifra) This family has 6 members, that contains of 4 children and parents. One of these children is a daughter of 10 year old who suffers from an intestinal disease.

I met this family during a solidarity visit organized by the Zanka Association for Culture (of which I am the secretary general), and I have kept in touch with them for almost two years.

2. Tanger family

The second family is a family of 7, who trapped in the countryside and settled in a slum near Tanger (my city).

It consists of a Mother (63 years old) who begs, a tired father (67 years) who does nothing more, a handicap twin (8 years old), a single girl (37 years old) and another divorced son (27 years old) who lost his job as a mason following this pandemic.

Disbursed Aid to Date

With the support of my friends and acquaintances, I was able to help the first family, the second family and other families with similar condition in the city of Tangier to take benefit from the weekly food baskets distribution.

My Final Goal for the Families

☆ Help care for the little girl (first family) and send her to a boarding school.

☆ Help the second family to return to their native village and organize solidarity tourism for their village.
