Hello,
I’m Dita to my friends and you can call me that too!
I’m from the Philippines and I love to read books. Unfortunately for me, books are quite expensive so I resort to reading e-books (most of them free and I know it’s something I shouldn’t do coz that’s against the copyright law but I’m just so broke to buy physical copies 😔).
I always go to bookstores so I can read for free, nothing beats the smell of the pages of an actual book! You don’t get that from ebooks. I wish sometimes I can take them home but I don’t have enough money to spare.
My favorite authors are: JRR Tolkien, that man is a LEGEND; in terms of writing style it would be Neil Gaiman and Gillian Flynn! First page from these two will get you hooked instantly; Paulo Coelho’s books speaks to me sometimes like they know me, JK Rowling of course! It took me three days to finally decide to read the ending of Deathly Hallows because reading it means I’m saying goodbye to the magic 🥺.
I love books with magic, and I really believe somewhere in the most secluded parts of this world, there are Elves and Hobbits. But I also read non-fiction, anything that captures my attention, if I can find an ebook of it, I read it.
Any amount will be appreciated! I hope with your kind hearts I can finally own real actual BOOKS.
