Being Grateful for the Kindness of the People of Port Barton

This is Sandrine from Jungle Bar Resto, Hut & Cottages, Port Barton, Philippines.

It's been a great time in Port Barton!

I'm French living in Port Barton since 3.5 years ago and running the Jungle Resto and Cottages. I've always been grateful for being here, a place with wonderful view and welcoming people.

It's like no other time, it's time to give back!

I send this message to all the people who have been in Port Barton, Palawan, Philippines. To they who enjoyed the kindness and warm welcoming of Filipino people: this is time for us to give back.

We are all affected by the current events, all the measures to stop this virus. Some of us get hit hard, but some of us have better situations and conditions.

I'm here on behalf of those Port Barton people who don't have any income or any job anymore. Most sadly, no food. The Barton people are living all year to please the tourists who came here. But now, they all suddenly disappear, right at the beginning of what is supposed to be the highest peak season. Many very long months will come before we can see the end of this pandemic, and these people had no time to save any money.

Your small donation could save them!

We are not asking for a big contribution. 1 sack of rice to feed a family for one month cost only 25€. Some 5 or 10 or 20 euros or dollars, could change a lot.

All the money collected will go to the community of Barton to buy food and all important needs.
