COVID 19 Lockdown Effect

Hello! My name is Homer Hugo Obeja, I’m form Philippines.

I want to reach out less fortunate people who were heavily affected by the COVID 19 lockdown who are living in the vicinity and in remote areas experienced hardship in making both ends meet. Calatrava town is a fourth class municipality and government aids is always on the delay mode. It’s always been my passion to help and reach out to people in this kind of Worldwide Pandemic. Since elementary as a family in my hometown, we always extend our help to our neighbourhood and to the needy. My father was a farmer and we always have enough with basic needs. When I was in college we had this community extension program during weekends "feed the children of certain remote areas" in the city where I studied.

We chipped in money, rice, and other stuff to materialize our to feed the hungry ones. I was once a researcher for Lutheran World Relief on Haiyan's victims in Samar-Leyte areas 2013-2014. Before I landed a job in BPO I am also part of “Diomariz Ads Promotions” who mainly focus on community extension programs.

The reason why I am raising funds is to help my community, to help those who were heavily experiencing crises on their finances because they cannot work and look for money. I am not happy seeing my constituents, my countrymen suffer. Don't ask what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country. I am not rich but, I can still eat 3 times a day. I am a Project development Manager of a start-up company. I cannot sleep, sit comfortably on a couch and do nothing without even thinking what happened to my neighbours and my countrymen.

All the proceeds will go to the beneficiaries of COVID 19, but we need to use other funds for logistical costs, esp people who will help to distribute the goods.
