Who am I and what do I do?

Hello, my name is Noemí Mendez Alemán and I am an independent dog rescuer in Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico. For two years, I have been picking up street dogs that have been abandoned, mistreated, or that need help. I give them medical attention, food, love, and a place to sleep. I currently have 50 dogs in my care, all rescued and looking for a home.

Why do I need your help?

Mexico is one of the countries with the most street dogs worldwide. It is estimated that there are more than 23 million homeless dogs in the country, and many of them suffer from hunger, thirst, cold, disease, and violence. My dream is to build a shelter and a clinic for rescued dogs, where they can receive veterinary care, sterilization, vaccination, and adoption. With this, I will be able to help more dogs that need it and contribute to reducing canine overpopulation. To achieve this, I need to raise $100,000 Mexican pesos, which I will use to buy land, building materials, medicines, and food.
