Story
Hello!
My name is Oscar Espinoza, I am 20 years old, I am a university student in the career of Public Administration and Political Sciences as well as a Liaison of the Municipal Directorate in the City of Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico.
Different KITS such as PROTECTIVE SUIT, N95 MASK, GLOVES, AND EYEGLASSES are urgently needed for doctors and nurses. With your donation you will help them to obtain those essential materials!
I team up with a few doctors and nurses to make sure your donation reaches them. They have allowed me to get first-hand information about the urgent needs.
They who will personally deliver the medical equipment to each nurse or doctor:
María de la Luz Morales Flores, nurse in the Medical Specialties Unit of the General Tijuana Hospital. Cinthia Mónica Diaz Ortega, head of nursing on duty at Clinica 20 of the Mexican Institute of Social Security. Carmen Villareal Alberich, doctor in epidemiology at the General Hospital of Tijuana. Professor at the Autonomous University of Baja California.
The Coronavirus has spread to major hospitals in the city of Tijuana, doctors and nurses do not have adequate security equipment to deal with infected people. It cause higher rates of contagion and medical personnel breakdowns.
This situation occurs in most hospitals, especially in the hospitals of the aforementioned personnel. Cinthia, Mónica and María de la Luz have sent us a list of 46 doctors who require medical safety equipment kits.
There were 46 doctors without adequate protection against the Coronavirus, so we decided to set a goal of $25,670 Mexican pesos from Airfunding, Paypal, and bank deposits. Each kit will cost us 560 pesos, or $23.
The money raised was used to buy the 46 kits, which we will be delivering to the clinic (where the head of nursing, Cinthia Mónica receives) and at the Tijuana General Hospital (where the nurse María de la Luz receives).
But do not worry, you can support with the amount you want. You can also support with the team in kind!
