My cousin is in the ICU amidst covid 19 pandemic.

Greetings to the reader,

My name is Cheryl, i am a teacher in the Philippines.

Currently, one of my family member, my cousin facing a difficult situation that she need to stay at ICU

My cousin was admitted to the INTENSIVE CARE UNIT

My cousin, Laarni Cadayona Calog is 36 years old. She gave birth to a healthy boy last April 3, 2020 in Maternity Hospital Cebu, Philippines.

However, several complications arose that made the doctor advised us to transfer her to an INTENSIVE CARE UNIT, and due to the CoViD-19 pandemic, some hospitals won't accept patients. Because of that condition, the only hospital which could accommodate her is the UC Medical Center in Mandaue Cebu Philippines.

She was admitted there last April 4,2020 till present.

Current condition of my cousin

She experiences hemorrhage, severe anemia, acute kidney injury secondary to hypovolemic hemorrhahe shock 4 bags of blood is being transfused to her.

She underwent dialysis today, April 28, 2020. She is scheduled for dialysis and the removal of her ventilation if things turned out okay for her.

The hospital bill is increasing everyday, Financially we are drained.

Being admitted in an ICU will cost a lot of medical bills.

Financially, we are drained. We are even selling some stuffs to support our patient's needs.

As of now her bill is still increasing because she is still in the ICU for 24 days till present.

I and family members will truly appreciate any kind help from you.
