Preparation of pantries for people whose affected by Covid-19 at Quintana Roo

Hi there,

Let me introduce myself, My name is gessi, i work at Hotel industry in Mexico.

Because of the current covid-19 pandemic, many of my workmates were dismissed.

Many hoteliers were dismissed because of covid-19

The town of Playa del Carmen is kept alive by tourism, which is why during the quarantine the vast majority of workers in the tourism sector or hoteliers were dismissed (left homeless)

My workplace is the Hotel Grand Palladium, which is currently not operated, they closed their doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

I would like to help my workmates that lost their job

Because of most of them are dismissed and currently left homeless, they do not have income and neither they nor their families can acquire products from the basic basket (food, groceries)

I intend to help are my colleagues and neighbors of the place where I live. Villas del Sol subdivision, in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo. since we all live from tourism and unfortunately tourism is not flowing and those of us who live from it are unemployed, without purchasing power and what I seek is to alleviate hunger and thereby prevent acts of vandalism or rapine , since the need for food will limit that option as the last way out.

It might be simple, but i want to support them by giving Pantries, product packages (egg, tuna, rice, beans, milk, food in general, and support for babies).

How can i help them

I intend to help maybe around 1,000 people depending on the funds raised.

we have a WhatsApp group and by that means they can provide me with their need or quote them in a certain place and with due precautions to be able to provide the supplies that I managed to acquire through donations.

The detail of the use of the funds is to buy pantries, provide food, food to the largest possible population. There are too many unemployed people who have babies and they are the ones suffering the most from the current economic and health crisis.

I wish that no family is left without food day after day, it is very sad to see the situation
