Hello, my name is Lucas Jesús, I am 13 years old, I am of Chilean nationality, and I reside in the VI Region of O'Higgins de Rancagua, in the San Francisco de Mostazal commune in Chile.

I am raising funds to be able to fulfill my dream of developing as a Professional Tennis Player and to be able to participate in the world tennis circuit (ITF - International Tennis Federation), where I will be able to participate in various categories. I started training and playing tennis at 8 years old, where after a couple of months of training, dedication, and effort I managed to be crowned No. 1 in the Chilean Tennis League at the national level in the 10-year-old male category, in December of the year. 2018:

I am currently registered and officially enrolled in the Chilean Tennis Federation, under the category men 14 years old (https://chile.tenisintegrado.com/perfil2/inicio/225772) with a national ranking of N°146, since due to lack of financial funds, I have not been able to participate in tournaments throughout my country.

Likewise, with a lot of efforts from my parents this last year 2023, thank God, I have been able to train with a Tennis teacher from my region, but unfortunately, I can only train 2 hours per week, that is, about 8 hours a month, which is too little to achieve the final objective. The ideal would be to train about 3 hours a day of tennis, plus 1 hour of physical training daily.

My father and mother work hard to be able to maintain my clothing, clothing, my racket and pay for training classes, but it is not enough to be able to participate in tournaments, much less for a professional team to achieve an adequate level (coach, physical trainer, rackets, etc.).

For now I train in a vacant lot that exists close to home where I prepare physically only daily, with all the support and help of my parents, with which I have managed to improve my level significantly, I set up a rudimentary field with a dirt floor and some net irons.

With the favor of God and the help of family and friends, I have been able to enroll in a regional tennis league in the VI Region, where approximately 300 adult players from the age of 20 participate. I am the only child so far this year. I have been crowned champion in two tournaments, vice-champion in two tournaments, and quarter-final round in two tournaments, beating experienced and older players and placing me in the top No. 20 in the Region.

I already own more than 15 trophies - championship medals in various tournaments.

To all this, we must add the financial effort required to prepare these competitions throughout the year, in terms of hours of training, with its cost, tournaments outside my city, competition clothing, rackets (currently I have only one professional racket, which I cut the rope in the middle of the tournament and I had to borrow one from my opponent to continue playing the match), the necessary material to practice the sport, as well as other complementary expenses, which unfortunately, despite the hard work of my parents, did not They can completely afford it, this sport in my country is too expensive, an estimated minimum cost of USD 2500 per month.

We have not been able to obtain help or subsidies from any administration, nor federations, nor do we have sponsors, so my family faces 100% of the expenses.

For me it is a bigger dream and illusion to be able to represent my country worldwide and I would like you to help me with whatever you can to achieve this goal, I will never forget each one of you, you will see how God will reward this noble action to any good-hearted person.
