Children's feeding program

Hello Everyone,

I am Samgar Narciso, you can also call me Cham. I am from Bais City, Negros Oriental Philippines. I am 39 years of age, married to Rosie Narciso, and we have a 7 year old son. I am a trike driver, and a local tour guide in our province. At the same time i am a distributor in a small company here in Philippines.

In the year 2019, my wife and I started a benevolence program, reaching out to students and teachers in the mountain area. With the help of our friends we were able to donate raincoats, umbrellas and a printer to the school administration.

In the year 2020 and 2021, we are able to give rice and groceries in different villages, and feed children, particularly in the weeks after the super typhoon Odette brought torrential rains, violent winds, floods and storm surges, resulting in the loss of many lives.

The following year, in 2022, we fed approximately 300 children and  200 adults in different villages. We also helped rebuild churches by donating some building materials and school supplies, and even joined the brigada skwela in a public school in Bais City.

In all, we have reached out to over 3000 individuals, including children, in many remote areas since we started the program. All expenses were sponsored and donated by our friends.

For the last few months we have been receiving requests from our local friends, inviting us to host feeding programs in the coming month. Despite the present economic situation, and the limited opportunities for employment and other opportunities, we remain positive, and we are determined to encourage parents and children.

Because of this, we want to continue to extend HOPE and JOY to the children in need. Our goal is to host as many feeding programs in as many different villages as we can, before this year ends.

We humbly appeal to your heart of compassion, for donations for this program. We also accept used clothing, toys, school supplies, and other necessities. No matter what amount you give, it will all go to help children, and every single dollar will make a difference.
