Story

Hello! I am a person who used to hate cats, but upon rescuing some (I was really hesitant back then because I really do not like them), I realized that they are just as cute and loving as dogs. Here is my story:

Around March last year, someone left a cat around 2-3 weeks old in a tree near our house, it was a female tuxedo cat (I named her Otis later on), I admit that I am really annoyed by how loud she cries but I decided to create a makeshift shelter for her nearer to our house and bought sterilized milk and a small syringe (I removed the needle) and fed her from time to time because I thought she was going to die anyway and at least if she dies she will die with a filled stomach and some warmth, luckily about a week later a stray cat (another tuxedo cat) from my neighbor's roof brought down 5 baby cats. The mother cat brought them in the plantbox of my house so I thought I can place a roof by leaning a piece of plywood every night or every time it rains, the mother cat decided to bring Otis in the shelter and nursed her as well, in fact, she was the most fed among the kittens.

One morning 3 kittens were probably stolen because they look unique. Once the rainy season started they started to reside inside the small garage(?) of my house and I placed them in a cardboard box with some old clothes to keep them warm. One kitten died and one grew sickly, I named him Otisto. Months passed by, more kittens started to come, either because I picked them up or Mama Cat brought them (people are dumping newborn kittens here), one relatively old kitten stayed for around a week but died because of a deep wound I cannot treat and I do not have money to bring her to a veterinarian, and around 8 kittens died because Mama Cat and I cannot feed and keep all of them warm. Another batch of 3 2-3 week old kittens were dumped (2 gingers and 1 tabby) but after that were no dumped kittens for a fews months however I started feeding an abandoned cat (Jun) (his owners went to Australia for a year), one of his eyes is blind and the half of his body is weak and damaged (he got mauled by our neighbor's pitbull). One of the 3 kittens got ran over by a car, it was the biggest among them, those 2 remaining is the smaller ginger (Ginger) who is very active and loves to eat and the tabby one who is a sweet but sickly girl (Princess). Another kitten was dumped in Christmas afternoon, a pure black kitten (Daisy), newborn, I decided to bring her inside my room, hoping that it will be warm enough for her to survive, as I was feeding her, Jun got mauled by a Siberian Husky being walked by two kids who cannot control it, he died. December 30 morning, Daisy died too. Otis, Otisto, Mama Cat, Ginger, Princess, Arthur (a stray dog I am always feeding) and I spent the New Year together and I was very optimistic about it. January 18, I found Princess' remains on a road near our house (she was probably trying to stay warm by laying in front of the gate of my house but probably lured by someone trying to get her but she is very slow so she got ran over by a car, her body was not that crushed, someone picked her up and put her on a sidewalk, probably the person trying to lure her).

Here is Princess sleeping.

This is her enjoying sunlight.

January 20, Otisto's dead body is found lying in front of Jun's owners' house. He got hit by a car, he was my favorite, he was very sweet but he was also sickly and has difficulty breathing, that is probably why his senses are dull, tragically, I found his blood tracks on the same spot Princess' blood track was found. : (

I found another dumped kitten with umbilical cord still attached to him.

This is Ginger the troublemaker (the one I am most concerned with as he likes to chase things)

This is Otis now.

This is Mama Cat

I am still studying and my money is just enough for their food, I want to be able to buy them a tower or a play pen they can hang out or play or warm enough to stay on it so they wont have to go outside the house. I was planning to buy them something to stay on once I graduate and get a job, but I am very afraid now as they are starting to die at an alarming rate. Any amount will do, thank you!
