Tawid-Covid19 Project of Pintig

Hello everyone! My name is Amebel S. Azagra, I'm Industrial Engineer, Chairman of Pintig ng Polillo Inc., Quezon Province ,Philippines.

Polillo is an island municipality with 32,000 population. During this pandemic, the sectors that are mostly affected are the padyak/tricycle drivers (250), stevedore (100), fish vendors (60), dumagats/indigenous people (75 families), carpenters/laborers (450) who were not allowed to work due to this pandemic. Adding to this is the 3,000 senior citizens and 250 PWDs (disable) who are considered the most vulnerable sectors at any given point of time. To date we have catered at least 45% of the displaced workers and none of the labor sector and a handful of the vulnerable sectors.

We, Pintig ng Polillo Inc, as early as March 19, 2020 has been reaching out to them to at least ease their worries of where to get their food to eat, however our limited resources is running out due to extended lockdown.

It is in this view that we are seeking help to raise funds so we may fulfill what we have started.
