INTERNATIONAL MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS DAY 05/30/2024

Hello everyone,

The Guatemalan Multiple Sclerosis Association has more than two decades of experience helping patients who are diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, helping in different areas such as psychological therapies, physical therapy, medical appointments, legal support, monitoring the delivery of correct medications with the objective that patients have an excellent quality of life.  We are excited to celebrate “International Multiple Sclerosis Day” in a special way: with a Fair full of joy and hope for patients.

The problem is wanting to celebrate the day for patients. Multiple Sclerosis International which is on May 30 internationally which aims to motivate patients (150 people) to continue fighting every day and raise awareness that they are inclusive and important within society as well as valuable.

We want to meet in Guatemala City with the clear objective of organizing this Fair. However, we are financially challenged like most nonprofits. Needing funds to cover the expenses of the venue, transportation for patients and other important details.

The event is scheduled for May 25, and with little time left for the celebration, the association launches the campaign fundraising.

The response is expected to be positive and incredible. Since we know of communities, individuals, companies or social responsibility departments that can join in support with donations, with the aim of raising funds to carry out said activity.
