Help to reach my dream of studying Korean in South Korea!

Hello! My name is Triana, a.k.a. Nana, and I'm from Spain!

My favourite country has been always South Korea. I've been always fascinated by its culture and its people, and I would like to take part of it, even for a short period of time.

The dream I always wanted to fulfill

As I told you above, I've always loved South Korea. I like its culture, food, traditions, language, music, everything!

Because of that I would like to study Korean in South Korea, in a school located in Seoul, and be able to enjoy the country.

I would like to learn about the most traditional customs, the best places, and I want to try every single dish of the Korean gastronomy.

What I want to do in South Korea

I'm planning to study Korean in Lexis Korean Lenguaje School in Seoul, during 6 months, from the end of 2019, so I can save more money. I would like to live with a Korean family, so I can learn better the language and the customs.

I'm also planning to visit every corner of the country, if I can, try its gastronomy, join festivals and concerts, immerse myself in their culture, be one of them.

If I'm lucky, when I finish the school I would like to search for a job so I can stay in South Korea longer. I would love to teach children English or Spanish, so I can afford the daily life expenses when I'm living there.

In order to make my dream come true

I'm studying Korean by myself, and it's really hard because I don't know if I'm pronouncing it correctly or not. Everything seems to be against my purpose, but I'm doing my best to make my dream come true. I try to read children books, study grammar, watch TV shows, dorama, so I can get use to the sound of the language.

If I couldn't get enough support, I will keep working and doing everything I can to reach my objetive in the future and I will never give up. I want to fulfill this dream more than anything, and that's why I would appreciate any little help you could give me.

Details on needed funds

All collected funds will be only used to make my dream come true: to apply for a visa, to purchase the flight ticket, to pay the tuition fee and the lodging, etc.

My plan is to stay there 6 months, so I would need around $8,000. Of course, I will use all my savings too.

・Flight ticket and visa: $1,600

・School entry fee: $170 - 200

・Tuition fee for 6 months: $4,700

・Text books: $80

・Lodging: $500

・Food expenses: $500
