Covid-19 Food Relief

I am Romeo Bajenting a bonafide resident of Davao City, and I am knocking in your hearts for help so we can extend help to our fellow local residents that affected by covid-19

Help the people in davao city

My plan for my project is to provide food packages, milk, vitamins and basic needs for the vulnerable families in our community who are affected with Covid-19 Lockdown.

Most of them are forced to stop from their work due to business/company closure and they are not able to provide foods for their families especially the daily wage earners who have kids and elderly to take care of.

I really want to help those families who needed help in this time of crisis. I saw how those families strive for day to day meals just to survive this lockdown and it breaks my heart to see them in this current situation.

The funds will be use to buy food package for the people in need in Davao

Many people are forced to stop from their work and shut down businesses and most of them are not able to provide foods for their families, especially the daily wage earners who are in a “No work No pay” situation.

Some of them post on social media to ask for help because they don't have money to buy food and milk. There is also one family who has a baby, their baby is crying because of hunger and the parents don't have money to buy milk and what they do is they give water with sugar substitute to milk, and the baby consumes that formula for a week.

As a Father I dont want to see families and kids who are suffering because of lack of food. I already give help to the elderly and families who need it the most, and I use my own money to buy them food packages and basic needs however I cannot also provide them with food for the whole 2 months, because my fund is also limited and I also have a family to support too.

That is why I signed up with airfunding to ask for help in raising the said fund, so that I can continue my help to them.

Distribution plan

As in airfunding, My budget plan is $1,500 and the fund to be collected will be use to buy rice, vitamins, vegetable, milk, canned goods and instant noodles. We are targeting to help 50-100 families in Davao city and we are going to prioritize those families who have kids, elderly and the "no work no pay" sector.
