Help Frisør Barber Shop keep it's doors open after lockdown!

Hello! My name is Nadine Cloete.

I have a 9 year old son. The person who I am doing this project for is my partner of 7 months. If he loses the barber shop we will lose our livelihood. Covid19 has affected the town we live in in a tremendous way as our town lives off of tourism.

Frisør Barber Shop is a small barber shop in Dullstroom South Africa, starting up in December 2019, a one man show run by self taught barber and owner Heinrich Augustyn.

Heinrich had been coming to Dullstroom for many years on weekend breakaways, he had always dreamed of moving here.

A chance meeting that led to Heinrich meeting and falling for a Dullstroom local then set the scene for the perfect adventure. Heinrich gave up corporate life in the busy town of Middelburg and decided it was time to focus on what he'd always wanted, to open a barber shop and settle down. He now had the opportunity to do this in the town he'd always dreamed of living in.

With much determination and help from family and friends Frisør Barber Shop was born!

From haircuts, hand made knives, vape products, art made from ethically sourced animal skeletons to chilli sauce, Frisør makes for an interesting stop when visiting the small tourist town of Dullstroom.

Relying strongly on tourism and local support Frisør has grown from strength to strength and built up a small but amazing customer base as colorful as our rainbow nation.

Due to the global covid 19 pandemic South Africa was placed on lockdown, due to the lockdown Frisør has not been able to trade since the 26th of April 2020.

The likelihood of Frisør being allowed to trade in the coming weeks is minimal.

Please help Frisør keep it's doors open.

Funds raised with be used to pay rent, much needed marketing, signage, provide Heinrich with a salary and pay suppliers for stock needed once trading resumes.
